Temporary hiatus

Right now I’m the only one that has expressed interest in hosting the monthly meetup. Since I have my first newborn on the way, ABQLUG will be on a temporary hiatus.

Please get in contact with me if you want to host some meetings in my absence! You can also find me in #abqlug on nmdevs.slack.com. Contact me if you need an invitation!

When to Attend:

Expect the next meetup to be some time during September 2022!

We will be holding meetups every first Tuesday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

For now, there is no need to RSVP.

How to attend a virtual meetup:

Currently we are using a self-hosted Jitsi-meet docker image.

Attending on a desktop computer:

You can use the latest Firefox or Chome-based browser to access the meetup.

If you ever “locked down” your web browser, make sure WebRTC is enabled.

You can test to see if WebRTC is working properly here:
https://test.webrtc.org/

There might be some benefit to installing the Jitsi-meet-electron client on your computer, especially if you are having audio/video issues.

If Jitsi-meet-electron is not in your local repo, try using the .AppImage:
https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet-electron.

If you’re using Mac or Windows, visit:

Make sure you set the Jitsi-meet server to:

Attending on a smartphone:

Use the Jitsi-meet smartphone app.
