(Oh my…)

The September 2019 meetup was on September 3rd at 6:00 pm. The even was hosted at Ideas & Coffee. To attend the next meetup, please visit: https://www.abqlug.com/attendee/

There was a total of 7 attendees, myself included.

We discussed and help users on these topics:

  • VirtualBox, went over some basics with a user.
  • Someone brought a laptop loaded with CloudReady (based off of ChromeOS) https://www.neverware.com/
  • Another attendee brought his Intel Atom Laptop with Manjaro preloaded (the XFCE version)
  • The rest of the time we talked about geeky-related material, while we ate some healthy snacks.

At next month’s LUG meetup I would like to try out Ubuntu 19.10 Beta. If you have any other suggestions, please leave a comment, or join our Slack channel on nmdevs.slack.com To do this, please visit New Mexico Tech Community and signup. The channel name is #abqlug.

And of course, we will help you with most Linux related issues at the next LUG meetup.

PS: There might be a few people that might be asking some container-style questions. If you have experience with containers and can attend? Please let me know in the comments! I’m probably not the best person to cover this subject…

Hope to see you at the next LUG! October 01, 2019 at 6:00 pm.
